5 Things We Never Cruise Without
A few essentials our crew always packs, no matter where the trip takes us.
1. Duplicate your documents
Pack extra copies of your passport and birth certificate, and snap photos of them on your phone so you always have a digital backup on hand.
2. Pack a proper first aid kit
Bring your medications and a first aid kit, and keep backup meds in your checked luggage just in case. If something needs to stay cold, ask your airline about cooling options like an ice pack, or grab a mini cooler for wherever you're staying.
3. Traveling with pets? Plan ahead
Look into vaccination requirements and pet passports well before you go. Pack the same treats, blanket, and waste bags your pet already knows, so a little bit of home travels with them too.
4. Get your currency early
Most banks will convert USD ahead of time, so order your currency in advance and skip the excessive exchange fees once you land abroad.
5. Diversify your cards
Visa used to be the go-to everywhere, but more countries now favor other card networks. Carry a mix of cards instead of just one, and always keep some cash on hand for a pinch.
Bonus: Bring a Berry Caye® tote
Why hunt for a souvenir bag once you're already there? Grab a tote before you go, toss it in your suitcase, and you'll always have room for what you bring home.
